Background

As part of his 2019 national tour, Australian Idol winner Anthony Callea required a new suite of promotional stills for use across marketing and PR. Reflecting the stripped-back, acoustic nature of the tour, the brief called for imagery that felt minimal, refined, and versatile across multiple platforms.

Approach

I engaged portrait photographer Andrew Raszevski to capture a series of clean, contemporary images, centred around white backdrops and the considered use of shadow to add depth and visual interest. The direction focused on simplicity and restraint, allowing Anthony’s presence to remain the focal point.

Final stills were rolled out across tour posters, PR materials, and digital platforms.
