Background

Following several years without a dedicated email marketing program, IVECO sought to re-establish email as a key communication channel for both customers and its national dealership network. Previous activity had been managed through Mailchimp, however the business had since adopted GetResponse as its global CRM and email marketing platform.

The objective was to relaunch email marketing with a structured communications strategy, comprising quarterly newsletters alongside promotional vehicle campaigns that supported product launches, sales activity and special offers. The new program also needed to align with IVECO's global brand standards while meeting the needs of the Australian market.

Approach

Working closely with both the Australian and Italian marketing teams, I led the implementation of GetResponse for the Australian business, establishing the platform as the foundation for all future email marketing activity.

This included building subscriber databases, creating audience segments, configuring email lists, and developing a suite of reusable templates for both quarterly newsletters and promotional vehicle campaigns. Each template was designed to provide flexibility while maintaining consistency with IVECO's global brand guidelines.

Beyond the platform setup, I managed the end-to-end production of every campaign, from content planning, copywriting and design through to deployment, optimisation and reporting. Quarterly newsletters focused on company news, product updates and industry content, while promotional campaigns supported new vehicle launches, retail offers and dealer activity.

The result was a scalable email marketing program that re-established direct communication with customers and dealerships, providing IVECO with an ongoing channel for engagement, lead generation and campaign support.
