Lancôme & Kérastase Bastille Day Competition
2026
One
Background
In celebration of Bastille Day on Tuesday 14th July 2026, beauty brands Lancôme and Kérastase partnered together for an competition for customers to win two tickets to France and twenty beauty bundles. For the competition, both brands required new creative assets for use across a paid social media campaign and website. The creatives need to align with the luxe, premium aesthetic of Lancôme and Kérastase, and incorporate the brands’ products within a French setting that reinforced the French getaway on offer.
Two
Approach
Several creative concepts were pitched to Lancôme and Kérastase as a full day video and stills studio production. The winning concept recreated the make-up dresser of a style-conscious customer as she collects her boarding passes to France. The boarding passes were highly stylised and exaggerated for the purpose of the concept — French colours the Eiffel Tower were incorporated into the design of the boarding passes. Product, jewellery and a floral bouquet featured atop a white French provincial make-up dresser, with ornate wood paneling and curves that helped to reinforce French interiors.
Short-form video content was filmed for use across paid social placements, including campaign key messaging and call-to-actions via stylised supers and title-cards aligned to both brands, and stills by photographer Ryan Creevey featured across the competition pages.
