Background
Jessica Rowe AM and Denise Drysdale formed a close friendship on Network Ten’s Studio 10, and both were keen to embark on a shared project outside of morning television where they could share the friendship - and laughs - with others. Both arrived at the idea of doing a comedy and lifestyle podcast called One Fat Lady and One Thin Lady.

Approach
Recording took place over several sessions throughout 2018, and both Jessica and Denise dictated the conversation topics and content so that it was genuine and authentic to them. Once the edits were finalised, audio producers Purple Wax were engaged for sound design.
The podcast generated significant buzz online and on morning television, and was included by Apple AU as a recommended female-led podcast in its 2019 International Women’s Day podcast collection.
