RealTruck

2025

One

Background

Following its acquisition by a global ute accessories group, Mountain Top (now RealTruck) prepared to launch a new range of products tailored to the latest Ford Raptor and Isuzu D-Max. The brand required premium video content for use across international campaign activity, showcasing the products in action within authentic use-case environments.

Two

Approach

I led the creative and concept development, as well as end-to-end production and direction of the campaign. A two-day shoot was executed across the Macedon Ranges and Templestowe, with each location designed to reflect a distinct customer use case.

The first scenario followed an outdoor adventure couple in a rugged, mountainous setting, capturing the products in use as part of a camping and hiking journey. The second focused on a tradesperson preparing their ute at a worksite, reinforcing the practical, day-to-day functionality of the range.

Each product was captured individually with talent, resulting in a suite of 10–15 second product-specific videos, alongside longer-form hero edits for use across RealTruck’s website and YouTube channels.

Final edits were crafted to be high-energy and action-driven, using fast-paced cuts and dynamic sound design to align with the brand’s adventurous positioning.

This project also established a foundational visual style for RealTruck’s local video output — defining a premium, performance-led aesthetic that could be scaled across future campaigns.
