Background
Walkinshaw Group specialises in the production of high-performance consumer vehicles. In 2023, they partnered with Mitsubishi to develop the Triton Xtreme — an enhanced Triton featuring upgraded performance, engineering, and design elements.
For the launch, Walkinshaw required a promotional video that showcased the vehicle’s key features, while also highlighting the expertise behind its production and engineering.

Approach
I led production across a two-day shoot, beginning at Walkinshaw’s Cheltenham facility where we captured interviews with Chief Designer Julian Quincy and Chief Engineer Trevor Barallon. Pre-interview briefs and key messaging were developed to ensure alignment and clarity across all talent. Supporting b-roll of the Triton Xtreme was also captured on-site.
The second shoot took place at the Lang Lang Proving Ground, capturing dynamic on-road and off-road performance footage. Tracking vehicle specialists The Bear were engaged to deliver high-end motion shots, while motorcycle racing world champion Toby Price featured on-camera, test-driving the Triton Xtreme and sharing his experience.
Multiple hero edits and social cut-downs were delivered for use across Walkinshaw’s owned digital and social channels.
